Come N’ Try is a community event hosted by Whitsunday Regional Council. This is an event for people of all ages to come and try new activities outdoors and connect with others in a friendly atmosphere. The event will feature entertainment, workshops, fitness activities, games, food stalls, and information from local organisations supporting mental and physical health. BGGA’s Pick of the Crop program coordinator Helena is going to be there with a fruit salad ‘Refuel Station’.
Pick of the crop is a whole school healthy eating program developed and funded by Health and Wellbeing Queensland (HWQld), aimed at increasing the opportunities for primary school students in Queensland to learn about and eat more vegetables and fruit.
