Bowen Gumlu Growers Association (BGGA) has developed a relationship with one of Australia’s peak research and development corporations, Hort Innovation, and works collaboratively to deliver a series of projects to connect research and development with the North Queensland horticulture industry.
As part of the VegNet program, which is coordinated and led by vegetable and potato industry body, AUSVEG, and funded by Hort Innovation, BGGA hosts a Regional Development Officer who supports vegetable growers throughout North Queensland.
