After there was a positive detection in VIC with the seedling traced back to a NSW nursery, as we understand it, the national response will continue to be followed while investigations of the new detection are underway. Below are some links for further reading on the detection, movement control orders in place for Queensland, and general information about ToBRFV.
We are mindful of the number of working holiday makers entering the region so we have prepared factsheets to distribute through the Bowen Visitor Information Centre and accommodation. We have also discussed additional signage for gates / entryways – if this is something you’d like to put in place, please let us know.
