Growing Leaders is the only national leadership program designed specifically for Australia’s vegetable and onion industries. Developed in consultation with industry stakeholders, the program addresses the real leadership challenges faced across the sector and supports participants to build skills that deliver lasting personal, business and industry impact.
The program brings together participants from across the supply chain, creating a collaborative learning environment that strengthens understanding, networks and leadership capability throughout the industry.

Industry Project and Outcomes
As part of the program, participants work collaboratively on a team project focused on delivering outcomes for the Australian vegetable and onion sectors. These projects are designed to drive meaningful change and support improved leadership, business performance and industry development.
Program Structure and Cost
The Growing Leaders program is free for participants from the vegetable and onion industries. The program includes:
- Three in-person workshops
- Each workshop runs for 3–4 days
- Sessions are held in March, June and September
Participants are only required to cover their own travel costs (flights).
